| The Maxine and Jonathan Marshall Speaker Series on Religion
and Conflict is named in honor of Maxine Besser Marshall
(’76) and Jonathan Marshall. As publishers of the Scottsdale
Daily Progress and founders of the Marshall Fund, the Marshalls
are known for their commitment to the environment, civil
liberties, the arts, and world peace. The Marshall Speaker
Series is designed to bring to campus innovative thinkers,
writers and practitioners to explore themes of religious
conflict with faculty and students from across the university. |
